There are two primary aviation programs available to The Polytech students:
1) Aviation Electronics I: Wire Assembly Certificate
This certificate is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge, skills and abilities to meet minimum requirements for employment as an entry level wire assembly technician in aerospace-related technologies.
2) Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT)
This FAA-certified program trains future mechanics for work on both the Powerplant and the Airframe of aircraft. This program emphasizes commercial aviation and has several innovative internships and work-study programs available, in addition to providing the necessary certification for FAA testing. Two- and four-year degree options are available.
The Polytech students may access either one of these options, or complete both certificate programs.
